Just at work... I don't like Monday's - TELL ME WHY?!?!?
Had a good weekend... spent all day Saturday putting up tents and tarpolines at Margarets... took me over eight hours but it was well worth it. The whole thing looked great... You just had to ignore the silage trailers that were being used as wind breaks.... hmm that is a strange sentence. Na it looked excellent we had loads of fire drums that we just kept stocked up with logs and i am not joking it was was so warm... everyone prepared for the worst and with the heat from the fires everyone was wandering around in vests!!!
It was a good night although me and mum were kind of loaners cos all our pals b*****ed off - WENDY! Me and mum and a few others stayed til 2.45am but the party rocked on until 5.30am!!!
It was good except we ran out of nice Brandy so we had cheap stuff half way through the night and oh god it was like utter gut rot - ming mong - rocket fuel - disgusting... so I had a wee sore head the next day and that is what I am blaming it on... gave that crap to Dad... he seemed happy enough at that! Talking of Wendy she lost another two and a half pounds on the diet last week and she weighs in on Wednesday so she should do well cos she hasn't broken it except from going in on Saturday night and eating two burgers that Laura had made. Then she binged on Saturday so I made her walk to Brydekirk and back... boy was her face tripping her!
There's no much happening really going out for my birthday this weekend maybe Moffat show but we will just have to wait and see.

I fly from JFK to Heathrow then from there to Glasgow arriving in at 12-40pm! Just in time to get home, washed and dressed and head out for a night on the tiles. Fandabi! OHOHOH!!!! Roseleen and Sandra!!! And you talk about my mother and her habits.........thats all these liquid lunches you are managing to fit in! Cannot wait until i head out with you to the social gathering venue of the Sunday School Leaders...........sure it will be riveting stuff!!!!!!!

OOOOOOOOOO - a week and you're home ! are you flying in to Glasgow ?
have had a fabby weekend - was out on Friday night with the old man, out on Saturday night with Lesley across the road, and out this afternoon with the Sunday School lot; went to a wee place in Partick - Screaming Jocks or something - will need to take you there, it was very good.
Alasdair back to school tomorrow - Eils & Looby not til Tuesday; Uncle Iain starts work in Glasgow tomorrow; Nanny phoned to say Granda will take Al to school in the morning but I'm not starting work til 10 so I'll take him but as you can guess from that Granda's 100% fit and eating like a horse which will please you !
Roseleen and I are off on some power walking next week (have a fair wee bit of weight to lose) but if I give up one or two glasses (!) of wine a week, I should lose it no problem !!!! Roseleen has a contract with Tennents to drink as many cans a day as there are hours in the day - it's embarrassing when the blue bins get emptied : Roseleen's rattles !!!!
we've had a lot of rain this weekend but it cleared up this afternoon and it's been roasting - hopefully the weather will last til you get home : pity you've missed one of the best summers;

OH OH! Sorry! but does that husban o yours never tell you anything?! He knew the craic! Ach well thats men for you! Have to say it has been fandabi and i didnt think i would of said that at the start of the summer. Getting quite attached to little Samantha but oh no not Jake, he is just a little s***! Typical American spoilt brat! Excited about coming home the coundow is well and truly on now, yeeha! XX

Met Aunty Sandra for lunch today and she told me you had a blog - managed to google it - but hey you'll probably be home before you get to read this.
If only I'd known earlier I would have sent you a letter - I'm really good at writing letters .....
Katie and Clare are fine - Katie is getting nervous about starting high school next week! Last week she was in a play - she was SnowWhite - as in SnowWhite and her 7 neds!
The eight weeks of our summer holidays has flown by, can't believe it's back to school next week!

I'm back from my holibags - it was great; did sod all apart from chill out, drink coffee, eat, drink, have a wee swim, etc..........
first time we did a fly drive : never again ! at least never again with cheapskates Ryanair - they are CRAP ! can you believe the gits charged me an excess baggage charge of nearly £30 - one of my bags was only overweight cause I had to put my blinking hand luggage in it ! money grabbing Irish prats.
have had a fair laugh reading your message board - Wendy, you never said when you were on the fone that you were dieting ! Mary, the boys don't need a haircut, leave them alone ! and while I'm on the subject, who was watching les enfants whilst you and my nephews were getting pigleted ? think the boys will have to move up here (Nanny's had to clear out the attic to get it insulated and my pram and cot are now in Kirsty's bedroom - dinnae panic I'm not getting broody; the chassis of DAvid's pram is also still in Nanny's attic! )
DAvid's wee hoose is fair coming on - they've gutted it while I was on holiday (it was minging! - the previous owner was a serious smoker with cats who obviously pee'd on the threadbear 'carpets');
can you believe Aunty Roseleen has been looking at A FLAT !!!! three storeys up in a tenement ! the girl's lost her marbles.. having said that I asked her if she would like my garden furniture cause I was going to get something different and before you could say Jimmy Cricket she'd carted it over to her garden, sanded it and painted it a different colour !!! the girls wastes no time.
Eils going for cosmetic dentistry tomorrow : ( washing machine packed in : how does it do it just in time for coming home from holiday with piles of dirty washing?
anyway I'll go now and stop boring you - not a lot happening as back to work.

Uncle Iain has finished working in London and is back home; he starts work in Glasgow next week so I've got a list as long as my arm of wee jobs for him to get on with this week !!!

Just found out that there is a concert at the Broom Fisheries on the 2nd September 2006... there is gonna be big tents and 10 bands during the day... that's your first weekend home so the suggestion is to go and get pished at that!

I text you last night cos I thought it was your last day but don't actually know if it was your last day at camp...
Had a quiet weekend... well pretty quiet for my standards!!! There is a party at Margarets this weekend though and that is going to be pretty good I would say... was trying to keep that one quiet from you acht what the hell!!! It's in her top field and there is eh rather alot of people going.. a good few hundred anyway...
I'm just at work killing some time until 4pm arrives and then I am out of here... It's Sanquhar ball tmz night though so I have a half day tmz and the day off on Wednesday - oh yes let the carnage begin!!! Wendy is doing really well on her diet and has managed so far not to break it.. although the scales were p'ing me off last night so I nearly broke them - RIGHT OFF THE KITCHEN WALL!!!
I will get mum to book a table for your return on the 29th and make sure they have some fillet steak - oh yes! There's no much happening over this end and Kirsty dinnae worry about the flight mun it will be grand... I'm going to Newquay with Wendy etc in September for a few days to a wedding and Wendy has got flights for my birthday...think they were a penny... cheepskate!!! Na it should be good... anything to get two days off work.... and then it's off to Albufeira for us guys that's gonna be good...
I've really no got much chat to be honest - just rambling! Applied for a job and should hear if I get an interview probably next week although I am not holding my breath... It's BB final this Friday and then X-Factor starts again on Saturday night so all is good all is good! Oh yes I have just looked at the clock and noticed that I only have 55 minutes left in the sh*t pit!!!
Oh forgot to tell you... it was Elizabeths party on Sat night... I wasnae there but Wendy went and was flashing her CHRISTMAS - YES - CHRISTMAS!!!! UNDERWEAR!!!! Will a rudolph on the front,... with a big nose!!! Then she had an egg sandwich and two roysters so I made her count that as a snack from Sunday!!! Well Kirsty, you know what I am talking about... if she's good the scales will be good to her... HE DE HA DE HA DE HA!!!

Hiya Kirsty, Its friday night and watching BB- not as good this year but still don't miss an episode, its the final next wk.
Can't remember when you'll be back but there's a Meatloaf tribute night at Hustlers which I'm fair looking forward to so hopefully you'll be home by then.
Off to bed soon as getting up early to help your mam with elizabeth's buffet and you know how strict she gets.
Wendy is doing well on her diet with loads of help from your brother.I joined up this week as well as the 1lbs have been piling on since we stopped our Moonwalk training.

Though it was about time I got back on the e-mail super-highway! Just to let you know I have now been 31 weeks sober so I am well on my way for the gold award at AA! Just to keep you up to date - I'M GAGGING ON A DRINK! Psycho Sue has not gone forever she's just hibernating at the moment! Cannae wait to get an alcoholic drink! Heres something to make you laugh - I've been out and bought 6 boxes of wine for after the arrival of Baby B, thats the equivalent of 24 bottles of wine!

Last Saturday night was a laugh - everyone kidding on that they weren't taking the karaoke seriously when really they were! The more drink they had the more competitive they got! You know what Mary's like when she gets that microphone in her hand - need I say more! She sang murder on the dance floor - one of my comments to her was . . . . . well you certainly murdered that didn't you! You can imagine her face, she doesn't take critisicm about her singing lightly!
Well I had better go now - it's friday afternoon and nearly 2.00pm and I'm still at work!
