Feliz Navidad! We have arrived to Monterrey, Mexico. After our super busy travel day yesterday, we are looking to take it easy. Our goal for this trip is to embrace a travel routine. A travel routine is different from a schedule in the fact that a schedule has to be followed mercilessly, a travel routine is a rough list of things that would be interesting to see but not set in stone.
Being the planner that I am, this philosophy may be easier said then done-- but I am hopeful. One causality of this mindset is Mexico City. As much as Lazaro and I wanted to visit the city for new year's adding 400 miles to our trip, plus driving restrictions because of the smog it seemed best to leave Mexico City for another trip.
