Well arrived a day late in SIngapore because we missed the flight due to the slight oversight of leaving my passport in the hostel. In my defence I did ring them three times and they told me it wasn't there until when I returned they handed it to me at the gate with 5 minutes till our flight left! Well we arrived and as customary for us arriving in a new country it rained a thunder strom actually! The jet lag wasn't good so we slept that off for a few hours then hit the town doing the one thing Rachel had asked to do in SInapore which was visting the Red Dot Design museum, which was pretty cool anyway! Then went out to a hawker centre in Chinatown and had an average chicken noodle curry for a pound. That night we walked round Singapore and went to the Raffles hotel where the famous Sinapore Sling was first made. We had our rather overpriced drink and moved on and had a good look about. Sinapore generally is far to hot and humid. I also didn't find it was a city with much character and it was pretty expensive I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again but it is a very clean and safe city!
