So from romantic Cinque Terra, we set off on a challenging train trip... 2 buses and 4 trains all before lunch... to arrive at the beautiful Verona. The home of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Cinque Terra - Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare. WOW!!!! Two days there touring around on ferries and trains also walked the del amore from Riomaggiore to Manarola and definately felt the love. Swam in every beach (favourite was Vernazza) except Corniglia where instead we climbed 382 stairs for an amazing view. Once again... Wow!! What a beautiful peaceful city, we stayed on the main island so there was no cars only boats and foot traffic and after Rome and Florence sooo peaceful.... Got lost on more than one occasion but that just added to the beauty of the place - especially cus we were actually never in a hurry to go anywhere. We bought dinner at the super market and had it on the canal everynight, just like people with money do. Ohh we were in gelato heaven as well...

Day tour from Florence to Siena, San Gimignano, Guardastelle Winery (blog pic) and Pisa.
