Hello darling
Hmmm. speaking as one who wept copiously for at least a year in the UK - I think you are doing extremely well. Remember to get DNA samples before you tuk tuk off with anyone. Great photos - I think the students will come round. You must seem like an archangel to the norm over there - no wonder they are a little distant and apprehensive. Just continue to float about looking ethereal ....... I can see you being put on the national stamps before you head home !
Carol Dallimore
Well this is certainly the advanture you were seeking and more ! Dont get disillusioned , you will meet some people, many of them strange but that's what it is all about !
Take care . Love Carol

Fantastic! Sounds hairy but on the way to a HUGE adventure. At least you've got the wine while you talk to yourself - the new desk configuration at work renders me talking to the printer for company, thanks to a high partition on my left and your empty desk on the right. Maybe with a bit of wine myself the printer might talk back? Keep the blogs coming - am VERY green with envy! love suzie xx

holy f*** kim, that sounds great fun over there. i mean if it was all samey you might as well have stayed in auckland. the whole point of travelling is putting yourself into strange situations with strange people and seeing what happens right? sounds like you are still swimming! great blog. take care GT

Hi Kim,
Sounds like you are having an interesting time! Enjoy it all! You are missing nothing there. Speaking as someone who balled the whole first night in kenya I can relate but you will laugh about it all very soon! I am sure those students are not half as bad as a few of the crazy candidates as you have dealt with here!
Mind yourself and keep sending photos,
Leonie

You are doing so well Kim and I am so jealous of you sitting at that glorious beach when I am slaving away in my office with the autumn rain pouring down outside.
I agree on the change of hostel. You got to stay comfortable and safe! And stay away from dodgy Mexicans.
Stay safe and lots of love
Andrea
I am too seething with jealousy to write anything nice :-)
You look great and obviously having fabulous time! We caught a glimpse of the sun this weekend but sadly it's gone back in again for what appears to be forever. Just as well really as I am not at all prepared for summer (though the biggest news here is I joined a gym - now if only I can find the motivation to actually go!)
And Thank you for your birthday email hun. We all went for dinner and Jackie and I got inordinately drunk and the next day at work was one of the worst ever.
Nothing news-wise to add, but keep having fun and do as your aunt says xxxx
