Everyone seems to know someone that has been up Kilimanjaro, on the border of Tanzania and Kenya. But they never seemed to have done it themselves!!

Kilimanjaros summit is well above the altitude at which high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE), or high altitude cerebral edema (HACE) can occur.[22] All climbers will suffer considerable discomfort, typically shortage of breath, hypothermia and headaches,so care has to be taken with the proper training and planning.
