Sorry for my delay its been a wild couple of weeks so here is the run down. I was in Hong Kong for a couple of days and loved every minute of it. After I got my visa in HK to go into China I jump just over the border to Guangzhou. I stayed in, Guangzhou again for a few more days and ended up meeting up with a funny Aussie, Jake and he was on his way to Shanghai to teach english so we ended up traveling for a few weeks and stopped in Fuzhou, Ningbo, and we are now in Shanghai. Jake, is off to his school and I will be making my way towards the central mainland area of China.
I have two weeks before I need to be in the countryside of a city called Zhengzhou for my Rice picking with Minh and her family. I found them again with the help X like in Italy. It looks like they are some cool cats its a family with an older mom and dad and their daughter Minh who from the emails has good sounding english.
I also have glazed at the map and see the most logical way to get to Zhenghou is perhaps through Wuhan...ahah isnt that funny.
Internet has been strange at best here, for example it is taking several minutes to try and post this...like it is going through some filter to get out, so this is why my communication is limited and sparse.
I am safe and happy to hear of the death of Bin Laden, thanks for the emails. I will try and post again before I get to the rice.

Mom So glad you are safe and able to receive email. What is the reaction to the death of Bin Laden in China? How long will you be in China? Say "Hi" to the folks in Wuhan for Monica. I like to hear that you are traveling with others from time to time. You always did find new friends at the parks and playgrounds! I love you. Stay safe in this ever changing world! Mom
Mom I clicked on all five stars to rate this blog but only one lit up. Whats up with that? You are definitely a five star blogger!!!!!!
Monica Wuhan has one of the bigger train stations in China so I'm not too surprised. Seriously let me know if you stay there, Keith would be more than accomidating if you needed a place to stay for the night and he would show you around on his moped! You have to try their street food, it known to be spicier than most of China!
JUDY I'm so happy to hear from you and now can stop fretting over your safety. Lois wants to know if there are snakes in the rice paddys! Stay safe my wanderer.
Dad WEWWW! Good hearing from you Sonshine! I can go back to sleep now!
Sharon Since China is the only foreign country I have ever traveled to, I am a bit frustrated that you did not really get there, but on the other hand, it is quite alright that you are home! Thanks again, Sharon
