Chris and Kerry Hey! We are now in Cairns enjoying the sunshine. We give our campervan up on Friday so we have been looking for accommodation, we have been very sucessful today, we have found ourselves a lovely house share in the city centre. It has a pool, spa and bbq outside and the inside is fully furnished with a double room. We are going to be sharing with about three other couples so hopefully they will be nice people! Just jobs now. Chris is signed up with a labour recruitment company but needs a health and safety certificate before he can be asigned, he is sitting his health and safety course tomorrow, Kerry is signed up with a recruitment agent and fingers crossed we will be both working by Monday. Apart from that life is cool and we are both happy especially because it is winter in Cairns and weather is amazing. Just to let you know we will have a land line in our new home so we will pass the number on asap and hopefully that will give us a better line and we also receive cheap calls from there too. Chris and Kerry Hi everyone, just to update on our adventures, we have both finished work after working our little socks off for 3 months and are preparing to leave Melbourne, we have saved up approx $3000 which is excellent considering we both love going out and enjoying ourselves. We have still partied hard and enjoyed the high life but have been really sensible and managed to save some cash. Our original plan to buy a van or car has gone out of the window because of the fear factor of buying a lemon and not being to afford the costs for repairs etc, also if we spent all our savings on a car we would need to go straight somewhere and work so get money to live. So we have now gone back to our original plan and hired a campervan, we have hired it from a company called wicked campers and they are really good, they are by far and away the cheapest and they dont have the little expensive extras that the other companies have, so we have booked it for approx 1000 bucks for 3 weeks. So we are both on cloud nine after booking it and can't wait to travel Oz in a van. The van comes with everything including beds, cooker, utensils, blankets, etherything you can think of including CD player and a TV unreal. So that is going to be our new home for 3 weeks, its going to be amazing, plus the company we have booked it from have there own breakdown service so that will be helpful but we probs wont need it because all the cars are only a few years old. We could not get a van in Melbourne because they were fully booked (Probs because everyone wants to get out of the cold like us) so we have to pick it up in Sydney on Friday. We are paid up in our flat until Thursday so we are going to get an overnight bus from Melbourne to Sydney thursday night then go straight to our new home/van.We have to drop the van off in Brisbane in 3 weeks so we are just generally going to tour as much of Oz in the 3 weeks including a bit of the outback and the whole of the east coast towards Cairns. We are probs going to give Ayers Rock a miss for the time being and get a separate tour towards the end of the holiday. Because we are off this week in Melbourne we are going to do a few of the things that we have missed including the Great Ocean road tour and the Neighbours tour plus just relax and enjoy ourselves, Chris has now got hands like sandpaper after working in gardens for the past 3 months. Anyway we just wanted to post a message and tell everyone how excited we both are about our campervan and our next adventure it is going to be amazing. we are both really well and very happy but miss everyone and cant wait to see everyone. We will give everyone a thought when we are Tom Cruising around Oz in our campervan with our Cd blasting and our windows open :-) Love you all, take care and speak to you all soon. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It looks like you are having a really good time and the outdoor life is giving you a good tan. We are all well but missing you both! Keep the photo's and messages coming. We have been looking at South Yarra on Google Earth and we can see the Botanical Gardens and one of the Stadiums where the games are being held....It's brilliant. Chris and Kerry Hi guys, hope everyone is Ok. We are mint as always how could we not being in Australia and especially Melbourne. Its getting a bit chilly now the summer has gone and its getting towards Autumn. Been up to the same sort of shinanigans went clubbing last friday, saturday and had an amazing time and met a really nice couple from Perth and went back to their apartment for champagne. Been working really hard this week and managed to save lots of $$$$$ planning to get a flight to Ayers Rock at the end of April. We have just chilled this weekend because of the saving but still got drunk on carry out booze. Went to a place called Dandernong Ranges today but when we got there the buses were not running on a Sunday so we did not get chance to see all of it, never mind. Back on the grind this week Chris as Gardener joe and Kerry as a dental nurse. We have put some new photos on the album so hope everybody enjoys them and we have put some pictures of Kaolas on for the kids to enjoy. Chris and Kerry Hi Everyone, Just been out for drinks near where we live and feeling quite drunk, went on the internet cos we are looking for a car hire place because we are going to Philip Island tomorrow. The Island is supposed to be really good because there is Penguins and Seals and loads of nice beaches, we are really giddy about going. We have both had a hard week working our little socks off, Kerry nursing away and Chris with his new job as a gardener and odd job man, he started off washing cars on Tuesday and then working with a gardener until further notice. Kerry starts her new position Monday working in the City. We are both loving life in Oz and Melbourne but are moving to a new place at the end of April. Chris Strewth, Put another srimp on the barbie. Hi Everyone, tried to put some more photos on today but the computer im using doesn't want to let me download them, me and kerry went a bit wild yesterday in Melbourne Botanic garden taking loads of photos it was either the sun going to our head or the bacardi breezers, probs the breezers I think. Hope everybody is well. Kerry started her new job today, she was only supposed to be working this afternoon 1 till 6.30 but her agency rang her up at 6.30 this morning and said they needed her to work the morning too and get there in half an hour. Poor Kerry she didn't even have time for a shower, Im sure shes enjoying it tho. The weather is really nice today but unfortunately I have to job hunt, just writing this message then Im going to make some calls and search the web, may have to work in a call centre because there is loads of work for travellers and its quite good money. My Dads suggestion of shark watching would be a great job but there is no sharks in Melbourne the water is too cold. Anyway me and Kerry are doing really well and we are having an amazing time, Melbourne is an amazing place and its the home of neighbours which is an added bonus, we are planning to go the neighbours tour soon and get a photo with Harold Bishob that would be cool plus a good photo for the album.
