This morning, we took a trip on the Jacobite Train from Fort William to Mallaig, a small fishing village on the western coast. The Jacobite is a famous steam train, made more so because of its alternate persona, the Hogwart's Express. This morning, we started off heading for Inverness but stumbled across the Culloden Moor Battlefield on the way. This was the site of a famous battle in 1746 between the Jacobites and the Hanoverians. There was a big visitor centre with interactive displays etc but we chose not to pay for entry.
