We spent the morning having a walk through the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, before returning to the hotel and catching an Airport Shuttle to Narita.We departed at 8:40 on Qantas 62, and Airbus 330 300.

Today, we visited the observation decks at the Metropolitan Government Building across the road. While there, we realised that Mt Fuji had become visible after overnight rain had cleared the smog.Back at our hotel room, we discovered that we also had a perfect view of Mt Fuji between the buildings.Afterwards, we caught a train to Harajuku and did some souvenir shopping at the Oriental Bazaar.

Today, we visited the Tokyo Tower, completed in 1958 and the Tokyo Skytree, completed in 2012.

Today we took a tour to Mt Fuji, stopped for lunch at Kawaguchiko, went for a cruise on Lake Ash and had a cable car ride on the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway.

This morning we took a tour on a couple of routes of the Sky Hop Bus for an overview of the sights. We hopped off near Tsukiji Fish Market to have a look but it was closed due to Golden Week. We walked on into Ginza and were amazed to find most of the streets closed to traffic.... Presumably also because of Golden Week. The streets were taken over with pedestrians though.
