Only Me.
Well weve been busy girls over the past week in Sydney. Im now nearly 100% better and we hit Bondi Beach on Friday and didnt try to surf yet. But we did see a few surfers.
The beach was so nice and it felt like heaven to chill out on a beach after getting over the flu.
After the beach we headed back to the hostel, had a shower and wondered down to Darling Harbour to see it all alight. It was fanstatic, we bought a couple of slices of pizza and a drink and sat along the harbour watching the boats. What a way to spend an evening.
Saturday morning we were up early to go on the Blue Mountains tour we booked, which is a must do if you go to Sydney. We left the hostel and drove up to the mountians where we visited the steapest railway in the world and wow it was steap - youll have to see the pictures to believe me. We then did the short walk round to the steapest cable cart back up to the top. What a place i only wish we could have had longer to wonder round. i love the outdoors.
After that we drove to meet the other tour guide who took us out to this look out point where we saw a rainbow in the waterfall, and i managed to capture it with my new camera. We then went for a twenty min bush walk and all we saw were leeches, yuck. We crossed a few streams and ducked under a trees the ususal...... Then we headed back to meet the others before we had tea with the Kangeroos.
I saw a Kangeroo in the wild yaaaa.
Today was Sydney Harbour Bridges 75th Birthday so we met up with jos and James and headed down to see the Opera house. What a disapointment!!!!!
Then we walked round to the bridge and got a coin which is a one off for the birthday celebration free a paper mind you.
Then we had some lunch and chatted for a bit before we said good bye. It was great to see you today Jos. Hopefully we can do the same in New Zealand.
I promise to upload some pictures soon as my site is looking a bit bare, and also to lable my pics.
Hugs and Kisses xxxxxx
