Headed to the Rockefeller Centre today, where we queued to buy our fast track tickets, we then queued to get through to security, then queued up as everyone had to have their photos taken! We finally managed to go up the 70 stories to the 360degree view overlooking New York city.
Central Park was covered in snow which was very pretty. We had fantastic views overlooking the city and was extremely impressed by how big New York is. Its definitely the biggest city we've seen so far!
After spending around 40minutes up the Rockefeller centre we then had to queue to get back down to ground level!
To get away from the crowds of people we thought we'd go the the Moma - Museum of Modern Art - instead of going to the Empire State Building as we knew this would be extremely busy....I couldn't believe my eyes when we entered the Moma - the amount of people; the crowd was phenomenal - it was three to four times busy than the Rockefeller! I instantly wanted to turn around out the door again, but we battled through the crowds and managed to glance at the works by Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, Warhol, Litchenstein, Dali, Pollock, Rothko, Rousseau, Klimt, Modigliani to name just a few! The Moma covers five floors and ideally we needed a whole day there. I would definitely come back to the Moma though!
