It ahs been a wonderful experience to be here in Otavalo. The people here are very freindly. We went around the market and looked at everything. It was really interesting to see the variety of fruits and veggies that they had. Many children were there, very sweet and playing when they were not helping their parents. I bought a few things and Kim and I walked around the town a bit. Saw a chruch that was very old, but pretty inside. Took a taxi to a local medical clinic, but it was closed for the afternoon. We are going on a tour tomorrow with 2 women that are from France. The tour is of a local lake and waterfall. Also we will be visiting some local indigenous families. There are about 12 families that cooperate with this tour and should be interesting. Pix are ok..so I will be taking my share! Well, I will write again when I can...
