Quick stop at Cloncurry for a break at 9pm on our way to Mt Isa after leaving Burke and Wills Roadhouse without our caravan.

We left beautiful Karumba this morning headed for Gregory Downs, Lawn Hill NP. After some rough roadwork sections the van felt strange, I pulled over and had a quick look and found the right wheel at an unusual angle. First thought was that the wheel bearings had failed, but I had done them before we left. I jacked the van up, removed the wheel and found a large crack through the suspension A-arm at the stub axle!
