Today we explored Broome with Chris and Jordie. We drove out to beautiful Gantheaume Point and onto the beach. The sand is hard packed here and easy to drive on. Also you are limited to only drive a distance of 100m up the beach at this location or discover the wrath of the agro Ranger! Chris and Jordie arrived this afternoon, yay!! We drove from the airport straight to their accommodation at The Frangipani in Cable Beach and got them settled in. Just before sunset we headed for the beach with our Zuki and a hired Jeep Wrangler for Chris and Jordie. Today we set off for the tip of the Dampier Peninsula, visiting Cape Leveque, Cygnet Bay and One Arm Point. The road up is quite rough, but its sandy rather than rocky so it is a 'fun' road to travel on with lots of whoops and dips that can catch you unawares if you're not concentrating.
