Righty This Bloody website is pissing me off to be honest! I tried to update it a few days ago and had written for like 2 hrs and once I clicked save it arsed up so I aint even gonna bother writing all that stuff again! So I am gonna give you a general run down of whats been going on so far! I stay in flat 404 at Vista Way with 3 English - Joe, Matt and Harris (my room mate) and Stuart. Block 4 seems to be the place to be cause we all get on really well as you can see from the photos I hope! I work in Disneys MGM Studios (yes thats how its said - no shortening it now!!!!) in the Tower of Terror (aka Tower), Rocking Roller Coaster (aka Coaster) and Fantasmic. All 3 jobs are really decent but I prefer Fantasmic cause I just get to act foolish all the time! I had a few days at Disney University where I attended Traditions (history and stuff about Disney lasted 8 hours (YAWN!)) then I also had merchentainment which ment learning how to scan piglet for 4 hours (I must have scanned that dam pig over 400 times - Thankfully I have yet to see another one!). I also got paid to have a tour of the park I would be working in and was told some random things about the park that you would never know or probably need to know to be honest! On our placement training we got to watch Fantasmic which is actually fantastic and anyone ever coming to visit Disney has to and I mean has to go see it! Even Stuart liked it which is a first! We also now how our lovely Disney ID's which allow us all to get in the parks whenever we want for nothing. So far we have been to Magic Kingdom on the first day we got them then we went to MGM on Star Wars weekend which was totally surreal. the park was split in half with the dark side on one side and the good guys on the other. On top of the main gate there were Storm Troopers Fighting and everything - just walking through the dark side was cool getting attacked by bounty hunters and troopers! And today we went to Animal Kingdom where we went on the new ride Everest which is very good - easily the best ride in Disney, we also did alot of character viewing there - we met Donald, Eyore, Pooh, Tigger, Baloo, King Louie and of course the boss (aka Mickey). We have also been to Sea World on another day off where we especially went to see Polar Bears for stuart cause as I am sure anyone who knows him will know he seems to have a fetish for them. So that was our fist stop in the park and guess what - they were sleeping and you actually could not see them. He was soooooo pissed off for the rest of the day! All he did was moan about how crap everything was even shamu which was an outrageous claim to make. Now on to the bit I am sure you are all dying to here - my uniforms well cause I work in 3 locations it means I get 3 lovely costumes!!!! So we will start with the nicest (if thats the right word to use) one - the tower merch costumes is grey pants, white stripped shirt with black braces and a red patterned tie. Now out of these 2 I am not sure which is the worst but probably Coaster which is a red shirt with black pants and a waistcoat which is purple, yellow and black (yes if I was to lye on the ground you could indeed have a game of twister on me!) and finally the fantasmic costume is a bright blue top with BRIGHT yellow braces and black shorts - dont worry there are photos of these floating around so I will be sure to post them on here when ever I get a minute (which is hard to come by due to these bloddy slave drivers!) We have not been out that many times so far but its starting to increase now that we are all settled - we have begun to form groups of mates. Our groups is of about 25 people all of whom are a good laugh. I went out with 14 girls for a meal for a bday in the first week cause all my flatmates had already eaten so could not be bothered. We all went to Hooters for my flatmates bday the other night which was good - however not as good as the one in Clearwater!. We are all starting to struggle with the lack of drink and such but that appears to be changing. Cause Lizz found us an American friend who stays near by and is going to bring us some drink and such so we shall hopefully get a little bit of that soon! I am just back from Pleasure Island which tonight was alright not as good as a few nights ago cause there was a lack of people there, but it was still cool! I am off again tomorrow so I am gonna get some washing done which is worrying me cause I have still yet to try and use them! Then I will probably go out again at night cause I aint in till 6:30 the next day which is basically 3 days off! Thanks everyone for keeping in touch and I promise to keep it more up to date as it was getting a tad crap and no1 really knew anything! I will be putting more photos up in the next few days there are a few good ones from Animal Kindom especially! -------------------RANDOM PISH------------------------------- I am still as White as I was when I left home - god knows how cause I only seem to work in the evenings sometimes till 2:30am so spend the days at the pool! My nickname is Sparky which I am getting on my T-shirt apparently and my most used quote of the trip which is going on the back is "Ohhh deary me!" or "Curlywurly" Robert - what happened to those emails and what also happened to Skyping it to the max????
