Last few days in ko Tao we hired a moped and went to explore there's told the island, it really is tiny! We went right to the top to find the whale skeleton which to be homestead kind of disappointing, just a pretty big skeleton on a table, no one else around, didn't really look well kept, so the fact that the journey back was only 10 minutes made it slightly better. We also went to find the reservoir which is advertising on the map, now this was quite far as it was right up in the mountains, it also started to pour with rain half way up which didn't help, but we thought oh well it will be worth it to see a lovely natural reservoir in the mountains, maybe it will be even better in the rain...We were wrong. It was a big man made muddy hole in the ground, but the random tiny cafe next to it was very nice, and the view looked like it would have been nice in better weather. We drove back down to sairee beach for chilled dinner and drinks on the beach, it's not a very party orientated place as almost everyone does dive excursions early in the morning, we have koh phangan for all that anyway. Overall our stay in koh Tao was lovely as was the dive school planet scuba and the accomidation pier 24! Would defo recommend and go back if I get the chance
