Today has been very busy, and it's only 2p! We took the Peak Tram to one of the highest points in Hong Kong. Great views of the city and harbor.
Side note. Signs in HK will get you most of the way there, your on you're own for the last 300 feet.
This is definitely a place for high end shoppers. Nice to window shop, but those stores are all in the US-maybe not in the same mall. Sharp dressers here for sure.
HK Time Square is bigger and flashier than NYC. Who knew.
Took the double decker trolley through the city. It's the slow way to go, but you see everything.
Random observations:
-MTV Asia actually plays music videos
-I think Missy Elliott and Timbaland are either producing Chinese artist, or they're sound is getting swiped. Look up "Get Your Crayon"
-they really use bamboo on the side of buildings at construction sites.
-this place is so green with lush hillsides AND super high skyscrapers.
-major streets are very western. Side streets and alleys are Chinese.
