We caught a sleeper train from Nha Trang to Saigon. Was told it took 12 hours to get into saigon.

So after getting to sleep late on the train, i was woken up by a passenger who told me we were shortly arriving into Saigon.

I checked my watch and it was 4am!! was not impressed the woman lied to us about how long it takes to get to Saigon.

So once we arrived we got a taxi to where the hostel was, but could not find it , took us nearly an hour and half as it was situated in an alleyway, so was hidden and nobody seemed to be able to help.

Also when we arrived in Saigon we was sitting trying to find our way when an american guy came up to us for a lighter, all of a sudden he was smack straight in the face by a vietmese woman, we had no idea what to do. So we gathered our things and left.

So we checked in and got a few hours sleep then went and booked a flight to Phu Quoc island for a few days, returning to Saigon.

We walked around the city and went to the markets, there was a real buzz about the place, lots of street stalls set up probably for new year.
