We said goodby to Hwy 1 today. We followed Hwy 1 all the way up the CA coast from Morro Bay to where it ended @ Legget, CA. It's Sunday night & we're continuing our trip up Hwy 1 on the CA coast. We drove 252 twisty, curvy,winding miles today. Well, it's Saturday night & we are spending the night @ Big Sur Lodge in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. We are about 30 miles south of Monterey, still driving on Hwy 1.
