My next day's trip took me up through an area of Sydney called The Rocks, up to the start of the Harbour Bridge. I walked out to the first pylon where there is a lookout post and went up to see the view. Afterwards I took the scenic route back to the city where I caught a Magistic cruise around the harbour. Ok, so, Sydney!! Rough start as my first hostel gave me bad feelings, but I moved straight into BIG which is rather fantastic really!! Spent the first day getting my bearings and then I got the ferry over to Manly Beach. This was a little dodgy as I wasn't sure I really wanted to get on another watter vessel, but the ride only took half an hour and was fairly smooth! Manly was really nice.
