So I have tried to enter a journal entry three times now and the computer has erased it because I have been taking too long writing so this is going to be short and sweet. So I have seen Avignon, St Remy, the Alpilles, and a bunch of small provencal towns near my home base of Arles. They have all been beautiful, historic, and hot! It is sweltering hot here and it hardly rains, luckily i live in the only air conditioned apartment in the program! My roommate (Allison) and I got really lucky and got placed in a gorgeous and air conditioned apartment in Arles. Arles is a tiny but beautiful town. The Romans built a number of beautiful structures including a huge arena for gladiator fights which is now used for bull fighting or la tauromachie. There is also an ampitheatre a church, and a number of other massive stone structures. I'm going to finish this entry later... gotta go talk to Brent ;-)
