Hi there,

very quick update as the computer is warning me thast I have very little time left on my card and it is going to cut me off! never mind I just added another hour to my time.

Just to let you all know that I have now booked myself on a trip with a company called Stray, who run a hop on hop off bus. I'm booked onto a trip called sleep with Moe that will take me from Auckland to Christchurch in a very roundabout fashion that will allow me to see most of both islands. I also have an upgrade that takes north to the bay of islands. The sleep with part means that I have already paid for the accommodation in each place that the bus stops overnight and will only have to pay for the additional nights I stay in any place. The trip non-stop is 17 days so I will still have some time to kill but there are a lot of places that I can stop and spend more time so this shouldn't be a problem.

So, as of Monday I will once again be on the road, although there should be a fair number of opportunities to update the journal, don't be alarmed if I seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth because there are a lot of very rustic stops with this bus!

Don't worry everyone, I'm not that fed up, I've just traded in one of my books so I have something new to read and I feel a lot better now that I've bothered to get something booked for this country. By the way parents I will warn you in advance that the credit card has just taken a fairly major hit! And Pete, I agree with Julie I think it is because you probably spend the most time sat on your arse in front of the computer!

Will update you again via the medium of the interenet at some point in the next few days, must do laundry now as my bag is starting to smell a bit ripe, mostly from damp clothing after the brief dropping in the ocean that it experienced. Also I have run out of clothes.
