Wake up 6:45 Go make breakfast 7:00 Serve Breakfast 8:00 Quiet time 8:45 Worship together 10:00 Make Sandwiches 11:30 Lunch 12:00 Leave for Mexico 1:00 Get back from Mexico 7-9:00 Supper 8:00-9:00 Hang out with group 10-11:00 Staff nightly chapel 11-12:00
This schedule was so subject to change that it wasn't even funny. Sometimes breakfast was earlier. Some groups did projects at the compound and didn't even go into Mexico but once a week. Most of the time I packed sandwiches for lunch and we ate in Mexico. Supper time was NEVER the same. We usually ate pretty late at night. We had a chapel at night just for the interns and staff, and usually it was the next day before we finished! It was a good time to debrief, pray, and listen to what God had been teaching the selected chaplain.
