Today hasn't been very busy as we have both been quite poorly. We slept in and then met up with James and Ciaran and went to get some lunch and heard about their trek in the jungle (sounded brutal but good fun) and we then head to the night bazaar and brought a load of presents for people back home. We also had our second fitting for our clothes from the tailor and they are starting to look really good, especially Dennis' suit.

Today was definitely busier than yesterday. We had booked a Tuk Tuk to drive us around to see some of the Chiang Mai temples. It cost us about £4 and the driver took photos of us and waited very patiently and spoke fairy good English. It was a bargain. We went to three different Wats and took some awesome photos. Sadly we are struggling to remember the names of the Wats. Needless to say they were really nice, and at one you could buy tiny birds in a wicker cage ...

We were getting quite desperate for clothes at this point as we were still waiting on our laundry so we decided to go shopping and have a bit of a mooch about to get a better idea of where we are and where everything else is. We decided to get some lunch and it was some odd Dutch Thai place. Which meant it had weird pictures of creepy children up and a pug dog that tried to wee on Dennis. So this afternoon we arrived into Chiang Mai from the longest train journey ever. Chiang Mai is so different from Bangkok they could be different planets. Chiang Mai is calm and quiet and not pushy in the way Bangkok is. It is also a lot smaller which makes it feel more accessible. So far we love it.
