Wow. It has been awhile since I updated this. I don't know where to begin....
Well, I guess I could begin with getting my hair cut. I was so scared. I didn't know where to go or how my hair would look. Plus there's the whole language barrier thing, so that complicated things even more. I asked at school where I could go get my hair cut, and Chicca recommended this place to me. I looked at Chicca and asked her if she would allow Alessandro to cut her hair. She hesitated and then said, "Sure." I was not feeling at ease, but my hair really needed to be cut. So I went and saw Alessandro (Sandrino). I walked in and he started speaking to me in italian. I just looked at him blankly because I didn't know any vocabulary relating to getting my hair cut. Then I told him, in italian, that my hair was too long. And he said "Madonna!" I looked at him blankly again until he showed me a picture of her hair. And I was like, umm, ok. So I let him do what he wanted. I let him cut my hair. I loved it when he was finished. I was really scared while he was razoring it, but it turned out great. Best hair cut ever. I love Sandrino. He told me I was bellissima. It was awesome. Then he asked me if I would go out with him that night. I laughed, of course. My hair looks incredible. So I was really happy about that.
Everything else that has happened evidently hasn't been as significant, or I wouldn't have forgotten it. So I will think about what else I have done, where I have gone, and other odd/strange occurances in my life and write about them when I don't feel like doing the minimal amount of work/studying that I have to begin with. Haha. Life is good.
By the way...Rachel and I are going to Austria the last weekend in October! I'm so excited. We are going to Vienna and Salzburg. I can't wait. Saturday Rachel and I are going to a chocolate festival in Perugia. Yumm. Next weekend I am going with school to Pompeii, Naples, and Capri. Very excited for that one, too. And in November, I am going to Greece with some girls from my school! Can't wait for that one either. That's all I have planned for now. I am sure there will be more trips. At least day trips from Rome.
Miss you all! Ciao Ciao!
