Day 1 20th March 2007

First stop is San fran- Its been raining bad today but guess what? (IT'S BEEN SUNNY FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS) Could only happen to us...... Forcast is sunny for the next few days so should be good fun.

Had a bit of a mare - Straightners don't work - Had a nice little purchase for a new pair, and my camera broke on day one... hee hee. Nice little job for my mum when she receives the package at home to sort out.

Did the City Bus tour today to get my barrings but doing the Alcatraz tomrrow which people say is amazing!!!!!

Staying at the Green Tortoise Hostel on Broadway - right next to China Town. Have to say its not too bad, not up to my normal standard tho but will do for the next 6 months!
