We have had a fantastic day on a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef. We stopped at Green island first for some breakfast and a sunbathe. We then headed to a platoon on the reef edge where we had lunch and a sunbathe before we headed out on a semi submerged boat around the reef. We then looked through the glass observatory. We spent the day sailing the Whitsundays! It was quite windy and cloudy but we had a bit of sun. We headed to Daydream island first for the morning. We arrived in Airlie beach today! It's beautiful here. Really nice weather and hot. We went a walk along the promenade and found the lagoon! We stopped along the way for an ice cream before walking through the high street. We relaxed on our balcony and had a beautiful over the harbour bay. I celebrated my birthday in Brisbane. We arrived at lunch time and headed straight out to see the city. We took the river path to South Bank where they man made lagoon and beach. We sat there in the sun for a while and then headed to Park Shopping road shopping centre that wasn't much of a shopping centre. In the evening we enjoyed a Irish pub dinner and pancakes for afters in a old church building! It was really odd but quirky! It was also open 24hours! Strange....

We arrived at Hervey Bay on Friday after a lovely time in Sydney. We spent Friday and Saturday exploring the bay and went on very long coastal walks along the Esplanade.
