Hi

Just about to leave Beijing for Vietnam. Beijing is a wicked city. We went for a great wall hike on Sunday - it really is great. It snakes up and down the hills as far as the eye can see. It was really steep and the path was really poor on the unrestored parts. At the end you could either walk about a mile to where the coach was meeting us or take a zip line. The line went from the wall down over a reservoir. We both did it and it was awesome!

Went to the zoo yesterday and saw lots of giant pandas - they're really not giant. Most were asleep but one was walking around and eating bamboo, it was very cool. Went to see Mao's preserved body today. Looked just like a wax model, and the way the lighting was looked like he was glowing.
