The Best ride in Vietnam! Today was a very exciting day for me and a nervous one for Katie. We had booked a motobike adventure from Hoi An to Hue to make a change from the bus rides. It was a Top Gear in Vietnam special! Which took us along beautifull beaches and over the famous Hai Van pass, the mountain roads were totally breathtaking ( but I couldnt quite get my knee down on my 125cc Minsk!) Katie clinged to the back of her driver wondering why she was on a motorbike in Vietnam of all places, however thoroughaly enjoyed herself. We really got to experience the 'real' Vietnam as we rode through small villages where children high fived us, rice fields and water buffalos working in the countryside. The locals must of found the four of us hilarious with our matching t-shirts, bikes and green helmets! Unfortunatly for me I dont think I will be convincing Katie to ride the rest of the world on a bike but what a day and im sure the memorys will be staying with us all for a life time.
