Hi and welcome to our 1st blog from Bangkok. Arrived at 4pm on Wednesday. Its boiling hot 32 degrees+ and very humid. Went straight to Khao San Road for a beer and relax. Yesterday we went to Grand Palace, amazing, even the 2nd time round for me. Cos of the temp we are doing everything very slowly and doing lots of drink and singha beer stops. Well the time has arrived for our first blog entry. We are writing this from the VIP Hollideck lounge at London Heathrow airport and all we can say is......LUXURY. (Thanks Grundys) Free drinks, free food and comfortable seats, theres even a snooze area so Graham is totally in his element! It was an emotinal goodbye to the family, especially Katie as tears started as soon as the coffee had finished, bless her heart. We will miss everybody and miss our home comfort...
