So we made it to Bangkok in one piece! The flight from London to Mumbai was long but luckily the plane was fairly empty so James and I had some space on the plane! When arriving at Mumbai to transfer for our flight to Bangkok, we didn't predict tge carnagr that would be Mumbai airport. Pushing, shouting, boiling hot and the airport itself looked like it was falling down. I got separated from James and had to be security screened in the women only area, even though my bags were on a conveyor belt down the other end. Cue near-panic attack. Luckily we made it through unscathed and were on the last leg of our journey.
Bangkok is amazing. Yes its busy, yes its got a lot of traffic, and yes its still 30 decrees C at night, but the people and attitude is just lovely and polite and attentive. Our hotel is like a dream come true and I even tried lobster for the first time last night! After a good nights sleep and a full English breakfast we are now off into the city on our hotel's private boat to have an explore, before we begin the actual tour at 6pm this evening! *does praying motion to say thank you for reading* (you do a lot of that here.)
