Today we picked up our hire car and started the drive to Queenstown. It was kind of a relief to leave Christchurch and I'm glad we hadn't planned to stay there any longer. Today we arrived in Christchurch. The flight felt quite short and I actually arrived in New Zealand at the same time that Shannon got home! Today was the last day of our stay in Japan. We got up at around 8am and finished stuffing our bags before having our last breakfast of soup, toast and tea at the hostel.
