Getting ready for Brussels! Another week of classes is almost done. Our days seem to be flying by. Tomorrow I just have two classes and then we are leaving for Madrid at 6;00pm. Cant believe the weekend is already over! Yesterday, Ginny, Sean, Andrew and I headed into town to look for La Fiesta de las Candelas. Its a religious sort of holiday here in Caceres that the people of the town have celebrated for many years. The children get dressed up in old traditional clothing, along with some adutls, and enjoy music, food, and games for the afternoon. Our first full weekend! Yesterday was a fairly typical day, classes in the morning, as well as a hefty lunch when we returned home. After only hoping to "siesta" for an hour-Ginny I just woke up from our little 3.5 hour nap. Little bit longer than we expected.
