Hi Kathleen, still following your message board and keeping up to date with your travels around New Zealand it certainly is a very beautiful country. I know you have been visiting the Bay of Islands which is a lovely place to visit, we spent four days there before flying from Auckland to Singapore for a 3 day stopover before returning to UK. Maureen and Tony called in last week so I showed Maureen your message board and photo's. Patsy has been okay. Well Kathleen keep enjoying your wonderful holiday. Love Patsy and Brianxx

HI Mum...Hi Pat, Thelma and Louise have nothing on you two, glad you're road trip went well and hopefully Pat didn't keep stamping on her invisable break pedal!!! Just worked my way through the messages and photo's it does look so beautiful, and you're certainly packing it all in.. did you have to share you're board with the guy in the photo :) As you know we did go up to see the Humphrys gang had a terrible journey there on Friday 6 miles in 3 hours on the M40...so we didn't get to the hotel until 8 pm only time for a drink (maybe more that 1), dinner and bed. Got to Jamies around 9am Max and Harv didn't know we were coming so lovely squeezey cuddles from Harv he's got his teeth now and long legs another Giraffe in the making and a medium size cuddle from Max but as you know ..how lucky we were to get that. I noticed that Jamie didn't mention that he won the shooting...Michael was the looser ha ha we had a lovely day cheesey lunch with all the goodies. Max has discovered full conversation and didn't stop talking we went through every toy page of the Argos book and have made a very early christmas list which I think more or less covered the boys toy section of the book I was the secretary and made notes!!We were up and left by 9 this morning and home at 11.30 what a difference with the journey. Have a safe journey back to Lin+Mo's and hope to catch up with you this week. Lots of love Debra xx

We were picked up at 7am this morning, our trip lasted all day till 6.30pm ...we traveled 460k right up to Cape Reinge and all around the north end of North Island, The coach did 73k along 90 mile beach, We were told it's not really 90 miles its only 64 miles, due to the settles way back then ...back long ago when they didnt have a tape measure, It took then a day to travel 30 miles... it took them 3 days to walk the beach.... thats when they came up with 90 miles ! Wally our driver said it wouldn't sound the same if it was called ??? kilometers beach. The sandboarding was great and if you look at the photo I am the one up front leading the way, as I had the camara in my shorts nobody got a photo of me going futher than anyone else!!!! Shame.
Tomorrow I am driving back to Lin & MO for the rest of our stay, My hair has got long so off it comes on Tuesday, then we're off to Verity & Rogers ( lins friends ) for a BBQ in the evening. We have had a wonderful day today...met some nice people. Off to the shower to get rid of all the sand. xxxxxx

Saturday 06/03/10 What an adventure we had today, a Catamaran took us out to the Bay of Islands there are 144 islands altogether! ... Our day out was called The Cream Trip...and it was, we did Island deliveries, Saw lots of bottle nose Dolfins, we would have swam with them but they had babies, so it wasn"t allowed, They were very big and swan along in thr wake of the boat. Booming Netting for those people who wanted to swim in the nets. We had lunch...saw some of the islands + Big hole in the rock ,also the black rocks. I am so glad I came back to see this part of New Zealnd ...Its fantastic. The sea is soooo blue. every where is lush green. Tomorrow we have to be up early ...we are being picked up at 7am, We are off to Cape Reinga..... A scenic coach tour of Ninety mile beach + sandboading down giant sand dunes, a trip tp Puketi Forest + BBQ and lots more. I will give you an update when we get back. Having the time of our lives.. Oh!!! by the way our song is not :Napsack on my back; Its now... I'll be coming round the mountian when she comes: I forgot to tell you.. Hello Peeps!
Soooo good to read you're sleeping with a snorer - I call it justice!!
It was good to spend time with you in NZ, Kath, and believe me I've dined out on 'our night' many times, each time the story gets better, as we knew it would.
I wish I was still there. Lin tells me the weather is just as good as when we left, if not better
Enjoy the rest of your time, thanks for the laughs and, oh yes, the cheese muffins - they were delicious.
Love Molly NM x
