ABP Gauntlet:
Today I finally got to bond with my ABP group and use our skills to compete against other ABP trips. The theme of this gauntlet was Superheroes and we chose to be Animal Man. We all wore blue and orange colors and even painted our faces. The first event we competed in was a memory game. We did not win this one, but it didn't get our spirits down. Immediately after this a husky walked by us and we got to sing happy birthday to him as well as give it attention! With the support for our superhero from the husky, we were back in the game. The second event was tank and commander. We won't in a single minute of starting! We then moved on to a maze game. The first team we played had difficulties with us, but I was glad that we were respectful of them and didn't cause a scene. We repeated this event for our last one and did even better because we learned from our mistakes the first time. I am so glad to have been able to work and get to know my amazing group through these last few months! Today really solidified my excitement for this trip and my trust in my group!
