Hey all!

Ahhh I had the best day ever today!

We went to the train station in the morning - me in my horsey gear and matt in his best shirt and white trousers! I was supposed to be going on the riding excursion on my own but when we got to the car that was waiting to take me out to the farm we found out noone else was going! I didnt want to be completely all by myself!

So matthew decided to come on the day trip! When we got there we were given somwhere to put our belonging and matthew was given some chaps in his under-dressed state and we went to see our horses - Romana and Bruta! We went out for a couple of hours on the horses in the countryside, it was beautiful! Bruta- the horse i was riding kept going a bit crazy but it was fun none the less!

When we got back to the stables we were driven to an ancient Toscan castle and we were taken into a restaurant for lunch! We were left with three full bottles of wine, and some amazing food!

Ham, salami, Tuscan cheese, bread, Balsamic vinegar and olive oil (all from Tuscanny) for starter, then a selection of pasta and finshed off with ANOTHER bottle of wine (Deccert wine) and traditional Tucan biscuits!

We were then taken to the highest point in Florence - Michealangelos square, where we saw some great views to finish off the day!

All in all one of the best days ive had in Italy! I would reccomend it to anyone!

Tomorrow more sightseeing and then on to Hungary! (No idea which city yet!!)
