Well 3 months in south America has come to an end and we've survived! It's been amazing and we've learnt so much including... I don't like trekking Neither of us are natural linguists Empanadas are like yummy Cornish pasties Argentinans don't believe in queues I think these are the main insights! So we're now in chile for a few days before heading to Argentina as we thought the border crossing would be easier from Bolivia, turns out no, and the buses are all full so we've resigned ourselves to loafing around in the desert for a few days. Oh my word, Inka trail completed and it was the hardest thing I have ever done!! Four days of solid mountain walking with the weather deciding to snow on the notoriously hard second day, and I was just wearing shorts, brilliant. The campsites were great fun though at the end of the days and the food was awesome. Right so the trip has now properly kicked off and we've met all the group, and they're really nice. We're currently in the at the nazka lines but yesterday was the bestest, we saw sealions and seals, pelicans, penguins and brown boobies (they're birds). We also went into the desert for sand boarding and dune buggies, lots scarier than you'd think, will try and upload a video later, mainly of me screaming. Also some things I never knew about Peru...
