The Belgian guys had been staying in the Nomads Fat Camel and so we we're right outside of it when we sold the van. We thought this would be the sensible choice rather than dragging our bags all over Auckland city centre! BAD CHOICE!! It was $24 each for an eight bed dorm. The dorms were in a little 'appartment' which was absolutely filthy…

mother well its the first day of my retirement!! Had a very exhausting but brilliant day yesterday with the staff and kids. Still trying to recover from it before my next stint of partying.Out with Aunty Pen for a boozy lunch and then with dad tonight. Off to Hexham tomorrow for a family get together. mother hello just to wish you bonne voyage for wherever you're off to next - as I do'nt know! Try and keep in touch as sometimes it's difficult to catch up with you. Norma & Sean Hi Kate and NeilHope you are both well and still having fun!We had a fab time celebrating Sean's birthday, and have had quite a few hangovers!! Couldn't decide where to go, so ended up doing the mini cruise to Amsterdam - Sean even managed to be the one who was searched.I rushed through in case they searched my bag as we were sneaking food on!Had a good time and HAD TO visit the red light district to have a look!!Take care and speak to you soon!Love Norma and Sean xxxx

mother hello! Just to let you know we're back safe and well and have had a great holiday. Been around quite a lot so seen lots of places. also went to Ann and geoff's which was great. dawn hello lil lady hows things??? looks like your having a fab time!!! so how achy wur you after the skiing i wanna go sking bu t my dad is like you'll never be able to stand up.. which in my opinion would make the holiday coz id just be in stiches TRYING to ski.. just got back from prague ysterday was luch nice and warm in two weeks me sarah elsdon, pearson, andy brown and stu ferrier are off to amsterdam on the boat! should be a complete hoot!!!!!!! miss ya lots cant wait till your back.. dawn

Norma & Sean Hi Kate and Neil Love the new pictures and yeah the puppy is cute - but not as cute as Gus!!!!!!!! Well almost there with the house, looks like we should complete tomorrow and collect the keys! It needs loads and loads of work doing to it, but it will be worth it in the end. Norma & Sean Hi Kate and Neil Sounds like you are going to have fun working there! You have to learn to ski. Both Sean and I have done it a few times and it's great fun, especially when you fall over!!!!!!!! Bet Ollie doesn't like the cold!! Edna & Bob Happy birthday for yesterday Kate. sorry it's late but we've been busy visiting our new grandaughter! Laura had Sophie Jane on Thursday. She weighed in at 6lbs 8ozs and is absolutely gorgeous (we're not biased mind). All is well. Hope work isn't too bad. Enjoy yourselves. Love Edna & Bob xx
