We spent about a week in sydney. We did quite a lot here. We had mixed weather some rainy days and some hot days.
While we were there we saw pretty much everything there is to see. we went to circular key and saw the opera house and harbour bridge. We caught the ferry around the bay and also over to Manly which was really nice. We got on a hop on hop us tour bus of the city which also took us to Bondi beach.
We went on a coach trip to the Blue mountains where there was lots of views. The best bit of the trip was going to the wildlife park where we got to cuddle koalas and feed the kangeroos (and emu if you were feeling brave!)
The highlight of our time in Sydney was going to the Neighbours night which is held once a month in Sydney in a pub called the Coolabar. We got to meet the legendary Dr Karl Kennedy and also Libby Kennedy and Janelle. Karl and Janelle were really nice and friendly but we didn't think much of Libby. We got our photos taken with them and some autographs. There were competitions where you could win prizes. Andy entered the singing competition to win a signed t shirt of Karls band. He gave his best rendition of God Save The Queen but was pipped to the post by and Irish bloke who made up a song about Karl so Andy came second. We will of course be attending another neighbours night when in Melbourne along with the tour!
We enjoyed our time in Sydney and will be back at the end of our time in Australia.
