We arrived in Australia after only a 3 and a half hour flight. We were met by Andy's relative Colin. He drove us back to Bundanoon a couple of hours out of Sydney. We stayed with Colin and Audrey for the next week and they kindly showed us around the local sights.
The next day we went to the Royal Easter show in Sydney which was held at the Olympic Stadium so it was really good to see that. It was an agricultural show so there were loads of animals there. We enjoyed the food tent where we got free samples of so many foods! We also watched a couple of shows, a diving show and a motorcross stunt thing!
The day after we just relaxed in the sun in Bundanoon. Had a look around the village and got the sunloungers out in the garden.
The next day Colin took us to Canberra. We went around the Parliament house and to the Museum there. We will try and go back to Canberra at some point in our trip. That evening we thought we would check out the local pub the 'Bundanoon Pub'.
We hired some bikes out the next day and cycled around Moreton National Park which has lots of good views and we went o a wishing well there.
Audrey and Colin also took us to Don Bradman Museum where we sat out in the sun and saw the locals playing a cricket match for a little while.
We enjoyed our stay in Bundanoon. Â
