We have reached Sydney after clearing 3108km in our bus. We are now living in luxury in a hotel right in the city centre! On arrival in the city we went straight up the sky tower to take in all the views. You could see the city, Botany Bay, the Blue Mountains, Opera House, Darling Harbour and lots lots more. Dont worry Carl took 800 or so pictures! There was a yaght regatta in town so the Harbour was full and the Crown Prince of Denmark was competing. We of course cheered him on.
We went to dinner at a food festival. It was celebrating the chinese culture and was set in Hyde Park. It was so busy but the setting was lovely. After that we strolled through an outdoor art exhibition. They love art festivals over here, there is one evry six or so minutes! Carl and I are slightly addicted to the comedy circuit so we spent the night in Sydneys top comedy store, check it out online. The acts were really funny, especially a kiwi so we may have to catch more acts in NZ.
Off exploring the city on foot now as we have traded in our bus. Reckon we have covered almost a 1000km on our own walking tours!
Keep in touch folks and we will see you all soon. Keep an eye out for more postcards!
Love Kat & Carl
