Remember when I said today was going to be pretty quiet because it's a travel day? Yup, should have known better! We left Amsterdam this morning but not before experiencing the most awesome breakfast ever!!! Mini Pannekucken....oh my word! And, because it was so good the day before, Dutch Apple Pie too!!! Yes, I know, not the most healthy of breakfasts, but it vacation after all!! We had a very uneventful flight and arrived in London without hassle. Our adventure for the day was getting to the hotel.......the tube is not near as scary as it might seem! The only draw back? 6 blocks to the hotel with luggage.....a little bit of a pain, but definitely cheaper than a cab!

We decided that the first order of business was to find something to eat. And we were in luck.....just up the street was a pub with some most delicious food (my first experience with Bangers and Mash......winner!!) and beer. Just the nourishment needed for our next experience. We took the tube down near the River Thames and saw Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye by night. Absolutely beautiful. We still got a good amount of walking in today and our now hanging out resting as tomorrow will be another big day.....Stonehenge in the morning and Les Miserables tomorrow night!
