After being up all hours labelling and hemming, kids all set for their big first day!! After meeting his teacher yesterday- Zac so excited he'd said he wanted to go straight to sleep so his first day would come quicker! Sooo cute. He looked a little nervous in the morning though but was all smiles once his lovely teacher took him inside (Miss Harrison). (Had to sneak a peek through the window to be sure!!!).
Zoe had met another new girl yesterday so as soon as she was with her, she was happy too. Another lovely teacher who lived in Kenya for 10 years.
Phew! Such a relief. Think mum and dad struggled more than they did!!
The grounds of the school are magnificent with expansive, rolling lawns and beautiful old buildings and church. More importantly though, everyone seems very friendly.
We made the most of the precious hours of child free time to try and find a car. May have to park the new bomb away from the school I think!!
Picked up 2 tired but thankfully happy kids, both proclaiming they had had a great day and each made a new friend. Zac even had a party invite!
