Tuesday, we drove to our old house "Il Castello" in Cellai. Wound our way up the incredibly steep winding road to the top with all its lovely views over the Tuscan country side. This time though in Summer.... the only season we hadn't been in Italy for. So lovely to see it again. Took some happy snaps of the kids in some of the same spots as 4 years ago- they're so big now!!! They still loved collecting the little bits of colorful broken tiles from the driveway! A new collection for the mosaic I have never gotten around to doing.

Met up with our wonderful neighbours from Incisa, Roberta, Paulo and Annunsiata- our second house in Italy in 2013. They drowned us in their usual warmth and hospitality with little gifts for the kids, homemade jam, and a wonderful selection of little cakes for morning tea (...of which Zac and Zoe each ate 6 !!!! OMG!!!).

Headed then to Angelina and Beppe's for a delicious and, as always, animated lunch before going to vist Marcello, Patrizia and our new little cousin Jacopo. Soooo cute!!! Beautiful to see proud Nonno Marcello and how happy Patrizia was. All the cousins had a ball. More cake too!!!

The day ended with a night out at a Birreria- beer tasting spot! They let us try different beers in little shot glasses. Adam in his element! Had a fun dinner there with Cristina, Lissandro, Claudio, Serena and kids.

Home near midnight.... soooo full..... think our clothes will all need letting out at this rate!!
