Hello
Just some notes about what else we did in Chiang Mai...
Had a massage - a traditional Thai massage which involves being pummelled and kneaded by a little Thai woman. A bit weird - especially when she twists you so that every vertebrae in you back clicks. I was thinking of doing a course in Thai massage, but it looks like hard work and I could imagine the results of doing something incorrectly would be quite major! So instead, I tried my hand at...
Jewellry Making - I went to a workshop where they do 1 day courses. I made a pendant out of silver. Used drills and hammers and saws. Enjoyed it, though it was hardwork. Really pleased with the end piece - I designed it too! (Based on a doodles I doodled on note book during CELTA course...). Results to be seen in photograph soon here, or maybe modelled by a mum or sister in the near future. Maybe.
Cookery Course - I felt that a 4 week english teaching course and one day learning how to make jewellry just wasn't enough self improvement, so joined Celia for a day at a cookery school. Maybe I'll cook you Phad Thai or Green curry one day...

It's not for long so we should have time to see some of the country too. I'm still feeling a bit dithery though and may yet just head to Beijing and see if I can get a job on arrival. I know, I'm usually so good at making my mind up...
