I enjoyed reading your journal and looking at the pictures. My favorite picture is the Patisserie in Paris. Whenever my sweet tooth acts up I look at that picture then I go down to the bakery and buy a Lady Lock. I'm curious to know, in which country did you see the most people laughing and smiling? Can't wait to see you and hear first hand about your trip. Take care, be safe and enjoy the remainder of your time abroad.

Hi Kali! It was nice to see a new entry in your journal. Sounds like you are finding some things to do in stodgy old London! If you get a chance to post some new pictures, please do so; but if not, it will be fun to look at them when you get home. Less than two weeks now and you'll be back in the USA! We've missed you. Take care and good luck with your finals. Love, Mom

It is not fair. You are seeing things and going places I have never seen or be to. IT appears that you are having a great time. keep taking pictures and I will check in later.

Hi Kali, we have been enjoying all of the wonderful photographs and reading about your adventures. Your classes sound very interesting and challenging. We hope that they feed the creative fire and that you learn a lot! Enjoy your travels to Amsterdam and Italy. Don't eat too much pasta!! We love and miss you!

Kali,
Sounds like you are having fun!! I am jealous, it is cold and snowy here and Northampton. Worse yet, the hiking boot and flannel loving people are everywhere and I haven't even heard of a mall in the area. You would think for having Smith (the largest all girls school in the US) nearby there'd be some form of retail excite. Not so much. Anyway, I envy you! Watch out for the Guinness, it will make you drunk (which isnt that bad) and fat (which is no good). I am speaking from England-study-abroad experience. If someone mentions checking out Oxford or Stratford-Upon-Avon I'd nix the idea. Cambridge is worth a bus ride (probably 3 hours from London, I think???) and I hear Bath is really cool. Hope you are having a blast!! PS: Italy trip is looking more and more like a dream...my internship doesn't pay very well and NoHo is surprisingly expensive. I'll keep checking for cheap flights though!!!
xoxoxo,
Ellen
