Hello everyone. Sorry that it has taken me so long, I havent been ablt to find the internet. We woke up this morning reallllly early to start out on our tour. We were scheduled to leave at 630 for Paris. So we reluctantlz climbed out of bed and went down for breakfast. They have retarded toasters so I ended up burning two peices of toast... The English have a really weird cereal too, its in a hashbrown shape and you submerge it in milk... strange. We then stumbled into the lobby where we met our tour guide leader, Heinz. Our tour is made of about 25 people, nice and small. But, we soon found out that we are the only ones from America, the rest are Aussies, Kiwis, and one South American. We got in the temp. bus, since ours was meeting us in France. Heinz was suprised how quiet we were, and called it the first day quiets. It took us about two hours to reach the coast, where we boarded the nicest ferry I have ever been on from the White Cliffs of Dover. We got to see the Dover Castle as we sailed away. The English Channel is way bigger than I thought it would be... It was like a huge ocean. haha. But we finally hit mainland Europe in Kelley, France and met up with our bus and crew, who were both from Austrailia. Pete Murray is the driver and Wiggy is the cook. Because of the strict break regulations for the drivers, we actually had to make a pit stop as soon as we landed, so we stopped at a dodgy French McDonalds and pointed out our order, Merci. After a long day of driving we finally arrived in Paris with the techo blaring. Wow does our coach have a great sound system haha. We were assigned rooms at our hotel, so Jess and I got a room with two other girls, one kiwi and one aussie. They were super nice and we got along really well. We ate dinner at the hotel, where they gave us this delicious pasta/pastry thing as an apitiyer, followed by fish with a really interesting sauce on it. After dinner, we all piled into the bus for our nightlight tour of Paris. I was soooo excited to finally see Paris. They took us to the Red Light District first, where we got to see Moulin Rouge. We then went to the Montamarte Cathedral, with an absolutely AMAZING view of Paris. Throughout the night, we saw sights like the Notre Dame, Louve, Place de la Concorde, Ave de Champs, Arc de Triomphe, Napolean,s tomb, Marie Antoinettes tomb, and topped off with an AMAZING FABULOUS FANASTIC light show disply from the Eiffel Tower. What a magical night. I truely got a sense for the romantic city of Paris, and I LOVE it here. What a passionate, ancient city, it is definately worth every cent to get here. Sorry to cut it short, but its dinner time and I am one hungry girl. Love you all. Au revoir
