Your comment about the Chinese dogs is hilarious. My Chinese lab mate was scared to death of Olive the first time we brought her home and she said it was because all dogs in China are extremely mean. This year she was much better around Olive (played with her and picked her up!), but she said she needs to get out of that habit when she gets home.
She also said she doesn't think Alison and I should travel in China alone because they will rip us off. She has volunteered to travel with us and get good prices on everything.

Just got home from a big gathering with other CSers. A lot of drinks (of course I just drank coke, ha ha) and talk. Felt a bit out of the group, ha, guessed I changed a lot after one year, I didn't really enjoy talking to by-pass friends anymore.
Read your blog on China, very good writing as always. Sorry for the bad experiences you had there. It showed us that life is not always sweet, people are not always friendly but beside those, life is still good especially when we know that we are still alive healthily and have a lot of people love us :) Take good care, will talk to you sometimes.

Mom
The students' masks were very creative. You looked very handsome in your "teacher's day" clothes. We missed you on Thanksgiving. Your dad ate your share of the turkey. We are looking forward to seeing you in April. Love Mom

Hi Justin!
I just checked out your blog. It looks awesome and sounds like a wild adventure. That hospital bathroom cracked me up!
Dad
Justin,
I was glad to hear Tra Vinh was not affected by the storms in SE Asia. I agree with Traci, we need to see some video.

I'm sure I speak for everyone alse back home when I say that you should definitely post a video of the song and dance that you mentioned you might have to do...

Justin,
Its great to hear that you finally are a working man again! Two days a week? What is that? just kidding...It sounds and looks like a great place to live. All is well here. Our backpacking trip to Colorado went well, but we had horrible weather. It rained or hailed almost everyday and all three dogs had bouts of altitude sickness. It was great being gone for 2.5 weeks. Good luck and keep in touch. Take care

Hey Justin, just read your blog and saw some of your pics of Tra Vinh. Ha, so you visited Ba Om lake already. I really love it, it's a nice and peaceful place. I'm glad to see everything is going on well to you.
Your next mission: Try some mouse, dog or cat meat and tell me how it is like. Hic, I still can't get my head around how people can eat them, hic, it's really sad though...
Take good care and watch out the traffic, I think people drive/ride faster in the provinces more than in Ho Chi Minh City.
All the best. Tell me whenver you need a friend's help, ok?

Dad
