Big City Blues!! So what to do with myself today? I was up early to have breakfast with Prisca and Loretta before they left at 7am, but after they left decided to get a few more hours sleep. I then went for a bit of a walk around the neighborhood checking out some parks and nice walking avenues. Guadalajara is a big city and you feel it straight away - a kind of uneasy, anxious and rushed feeling. I don't really have any ambition to visit the city centre or any places in the city so I will use my time to relax, visit parks and get to know Prisca and her daughter. In the evening Prisca had to go out for a meeting and dinner and so asked me to babysit Loretta. Loretta is so adorable and well behaved that babysitting her was a real pleasure: I read her a bed time story (in English) and then she was off to sleep without a murmur for the rest of the evening.
